A degree in environmental management sets you up for a career that works directly with environmental history, hazardous waste, air pollution, global waring, toxicology and forest/habitat management. Lots of people who obtain this degree continue to work as an environmental scientist, hydrologist, consultant on the environment, safety inspector for parks and pollution manager for various companies. Generally you will be working to better the environment or using your expertise to advise others in safely working in the environment and natural habitats.
