Online Colleges for Animal Care
Professionals in animal care develop important and rewarding relationships with domestic and exotic animals. Online college programs in animal care help prepare students for entry-level jobs such as animal groomer, animal trainer, and veterinary technician. Since preparation for these jobs also requires many hours of first-hand experience, an online student should arrange an internship during enrollment if possible. This will also be helpful in networking for employment.
The following online colleges and universities offer online certificates, associate’s degrees, and bachelor’s degrees in animal care fields. With the exception of International Career School (ICS), all are based in the United States. ICS, a Canadian institution, is also an option for US students because it’s accredited by the Distance Education and Training Council.
