Massage Degree
Getting an associate degree in massage will allow you to understand the general massage styles out there and perhaps allow you to see if the massage field is really for you. The field of massage is completely a hands-on work, so you must be able to work with your hands and like it. A degree in massage will provide and equip students with the best knowledge and skills about massage so that they can be prepared for the massage job market. The massage degree is for those who want to have a sturdy foundational base on which they can build their careers upon. The massage degree program will provide courses such as pathology, anatomy, physiology, kinesiology, reflexology, massage variations, etc. These courses, when completed, will allow the students to know a set of general knowledge about massage and will be useful when they actually embark on their separate career post-graduation. The students of the massage degree program will specialize in certain skills (i.e. Swedish massage, deep tissue). Getting the massage degree is especially important in this day and age because of the scarcity of jobs, so it would be wise for any student interested in this field to obtain this degree. The massage degree will benefit them most when they graduate the massage degree program and begin to compete in the massage field.
