Jones International University started in 1993 by Glenn Jones. This was the first university in history to be strictly online. It was also, in 1999, the first online only school to receive accreditation and has a vision that seeks to integrate global education and student-centered lectures. They hope each student is able to achieve their personal goals throughout life.

Accreditation

Jones International University is accredited by The Higher Learning Commission and is a member of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools (NCA). The Higher Learning Commission is recognized as an accrediting agency by the U.S. Department of Education and is a member of the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA). The school does not reveal job placement rates but does provide a full time career service which helps with portfolios and job placings.
