The bachelor of fine arts degree is considered to be the standard for any students pursuing a formal education in the arts. The program for obtaining a degree in fine arts can be varied depending on each student's fortes. A student may choose to focus on mostly visual arts (i.e. painting or photography) or they can focus on performing arts (i.e. theater or dance).
