Public accounting is performing lots of duties for a specific clientele that are usually for the government, individuals and not for profit institutions. Some careers are CPAs (certified public accountants) and accountants are also part of an executive team for their company. Government accountants not only work with their respective bodies but also agencies and the IRS. Internal auditors are always in demand because of the numerous legislation passed to reduce the amount of government scandals.
